It very well may: Lithium is a very helpful medication but it is very rough on the kidney. It may be helpful to test the urinary concentrating ability, since lithium is rougher on the medulla than other things that might be raising your creatinine. Best wishes.

Possibly BUT: both of these creatinine results are well within the normal level There is some variability of these results based on hydration and other factors that effect kidney blood flow. The milder effects of lithium on the kidney are the most common. It is common for it to make people pee more. This may lower their hydration and make the kidneys look a bit off. It can also damage the kidney this is rare.

Medication effects: Thank you for informing about Depression, Cymbalta (duloxetine), (duloxetine) Lithium is used to treat the manic episodes of manic depression, Cymbalta (duloxetine) for depression and anxiety; Using lithium with Cymbalta (duloxetine) can increase the risk of a rare but serious Serotonin Syndrome. See Psychiatrist for Diagnosis; discuss monitoring of kidney functions, decreasing the dose of Lithium or Cymbalta (duloxetine) and ask him to talk to PCP
