Dry throat: Greetings. Yes, since your issues are now long standing, I would recommend being seen by your doctor. Dry mouth can come from nasal airway obstruction, sleep disturbances, inadequate water intake, reflux and even a condition called Sjogren's disease. Your doctor or ENT can perform a detailed physical exam and recommend specific testing. An ENT can perform a detailed anatomy evaluation with scopes.
