No need to treat...: ...if you don't have symptoms of yeast infection. All women have yeasts in their vagina from time to time, and some of them all the time. Therefore It is normal to find yeasts on pap smears. Treatment is needed only when there are symptoms of yeast infection, typically vulvar, vaginal or labial itching and irritation, sometimes with slight discharge. Menstruation has nothing to do with it.
