A member asked:

I had a pap recently. normal results. however, my report showed candida present. my doctor did not treat me for a yeast infection. should i make another appointment? he saw my results before they were released to my patient portal?

Do as you wish. However, candida are yeast that are present normally in your GI tract & may enter the genital tract in small numbers. Finding them on a microscopic exam would not by itself be a reason to treat. If you had white/cottage cheese like discharge it would indicate a yeast overgrowth needing treatment.
