Usually OK: An occasional grey or white hair in a young person is usually not a problem. Conditions that can lead to premature gray/white hairs include genetic disposition, vitamin B12 deficiency, thyroid problems, and other rare disorders that usually have other symptoms (vitiligo, neurofibromatosis, tuberous sclerosis, Waardenburg syndrome,...). Your doctor may want to screen for B12 & thyroid levels, CBC.
