My 10 mo old has 102.4 fever with medicine goes to 101 since last night. there are no other obvious symptoms just fever. could it be ear infection?

Hard to say: There are a lot of reasons why your baby has a fever. You do not say that he is cranky or pulling on his ears, so there are no symptoms to suggest an ear infection. It would be best to have your pediatrician evaluate the baby to identify the cause of the fever--if possible
