Sad situation: An unimmunized kid with a 104 temperature may have something simple like a virus. S/he may also have a vaccine preventable illness like hemophilus meningitis or blood poisoning.I would take the child to be evaluated and be sure to inform the doc of the lack of vaccines. They can proceed with a more thorough evaluation understanding the extra possibilities.
