Cough: Cough lasting 3 weeks can simply be related to a viral infection (like the common cold or the flu), often cough will linger for 4-6 weeks after infection. Cough could also be due to GER (gastroesophageal reflux), or asthma. See your primary care doctor.

See a doctor: You need to see your doctor who will examine your chest and possibly arrange for sputum samples to be sent to the lab and possibly organised Chest X Rays and blood tests if needed,
