Good move: Always remove contacts at the least sign of irritation or redness. This will eliminate almost all problems. While manufacturers encourage the use of contact sales by advocating extended wear, it is healthier and better to remove them at night and re-insert them in the morning. Hopefully you have back up eyeglasses. If symptoms persist without the lenses in, see your ophthalmologist.
