Benign what: Benign tells us it's not invasive, but even benign lesions can be problematic. The fact that the "lesion" has not healed is troublesome. Would recommend that you see a Periodontist or an Oral Surgeon for a definitive diagnosis and treatment.

Abscess: White fluid could mean pus which could indicate an abscess. There are times when an abscess is asymptomatic due to a draining fistula. Go back and have your dentist take another look. After 8 months, something is wrong.

Tiny hole: Any sore, lesion or abnormality that does not heal within 10 days needs to be examined. Seek a second opinion and Have it examined by an oral surgeon.
