Inner upper thigh/groin ache/burning pain. 4 days. saw a dr. who did not think it is dvt as i was worried. could she have missed it in examination?

Circulation issue: in DVT. If there is a clot on one side blocking all the veins coming back from all the leg, then all the circulation out from there would be blocked. There would be huge swelling. The test (doppler) is simple, not very expensive, nonpainful and non risky.
cannot say in your particular case, but generally, it wouldnt likely be done.
