Trigger thumb- used 500mg naproxen 4 a wk. still somewhat swollen & lock/unlock. use longer? diclofenac gel b4 that. any option instead of cortisone?

Surgery, therapy: Options include surgical release and course of therapy with nighttime extension splinting. Naprosyn (naproxen) typically taken twice per day not 4 per week to be effective. Cortisone can be very effective especially in the early phase.
