See FP or IM: you are describing peripheral neuropathy. Have your PCP check you for diabetes and circulatory issues.

Nerve confusion..: In all the thousands of patients I've seen with plantar fasciitis, I can't remember one that had a complaint of burning feet. I guess it could be possible but highly improbable. It sounds more like a developing neuropathy. The trick now is find the cause of why the nerves supplying the feet are sending confusing signals that are felt as burning. Try another neurologist, possibly on Healthtap.
