Tricky: presumably this is not your first mammogram.comparison to previous ones answers the question. If they are not changing over the years no, if they are new, yes.

More info: is needed. Whether or not calcifications need to be biopsied depends on their size, shape, and distribution. If they are typically benign by those criteria, they don't need to be biopsied.
