Hard to get my fiber daily. do we really need 25g/day? i find when i go over 10g i have harder bm. but i drink tons of water!

Keep trying: 25 gms is the amount that has been shown to be beneficial in promoting a regular bowel pattern and preventing progression of diverticular disease. You would want to go up slowly on the amount to avoid symptoms. Keep drinking plenty of fluids as you increase your fiber intake.
