Water and fiber: Dietary fiber is found mainly in fruits, vegetables, whole grains and legumes. You can of course take additional fiber preparations OTC (see your friendly pharmacist). It is important to drink water and having 6-8 oz glasses 6-8 times a day is reasonable. If your urine is low volume or overly concentrated, you feel dryness of your mouth, increased thirst, etc., you may not be getting enough.
