A member asked:

I read online 1 in every 200 people grow taller after age 25. is that true also for those after age 30? 35-40? what makes that happen so late in life?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Don't count on it: Linear growth ends when the growth centers close toward the end of puberty. For most males this is 17.For those who enter puberty late, they may finish late, but it is rare after 20. An X-ray of your wrist/hand can identify open growth centers. If closed, no more growth is possible. There is a lot of silliness posted on the net, consumer beware.
