It is thyroid hormon: and the level of it needs to be adjusted. The doses it comes in are the most common replacement thyroid hormone levels seen. BUT what level / dose a particular patient needs has to be adjusted. Often with checking the blood levels of thyroid hormones. A regular dose of thyroid for one patient is too much for others.
