Angular cheilitis?: This cold be irritation plus yeast infection which can be treated with mycology ointment. It starts with saliva irritating the skin. Avoid lollipops, sucking candy that causes saliva to collect in this area.

Depends: Not clear if these are on the inside or outside of his mouth. On the inside, could be drainage ducts from his spit glands. Could be places where he is biting his cheeks. On the corners of his lips on either side, could be an irritation called chelitis, probably should get it checked.
