Can labrum tear (fray) be seen conclusively on mri without contrast? how about during an arthroscopic surgery of shoulder? mri with contrast needed?

Labrum tears: can be seen on routine MRIs is they are large or severe. MRI with intrarticular contrast(MR arthrogram) is much more accurate, particularly for smaller tears. Arthroscopy will show labral tears.
