Yes: Usual paroxetine dose range for depression is 20 - 50 mg per day. After a few weeks at 20 mg, if not effective, can increase by 10 mg. Please with your psychiatrist for further management.

Paroxetine Dose: I understand your concern of lack of response with Paroxetine 20mg/day.
Medication with Therapy is more beneficial.
Commend yourself for your achievements.
Feel good about daily functioning.
Avoid Alcohol and drugs.
Exercise.
See a Psychiatrist for Therapy; discuss medications for anxiety and depression, their benefits and side effects and if Paroxetine dose be increased.

It depends: Upon several factors, including side effects, alcohol use, if you’re on other medications, etc. Without knowing more it’s hard to say. Discuss with your prescriber who knows your history, and with whom you can talk about any problems you may be having with your medications as well as the current issue of inefficacy, which may be related to dosing.
Good luck!
