I'm 79 yrs old, female and suffered major depression all my life and have illness phobia. doctor put me on lowest dose of zoloft beginning in one week. i take 81 mg aspirin daily. is it ok? i also have gerd. tk u?

It is okay. . Depression is treatable. Counter-intuitive as it may seem, exercise may help. Start with low intensity exercise such as walking and gradually increase the intensity as tolerated. Drink more water. Wish you good health!

At this point, see no drug-drug interaction challenges, but the baby aspirin might cause mild issues with your GERD. The Zoloft may help the depression, but your dose may require increase. Even at age 79, you might consider cognitive-behavioral therapist, as this might help better coping in the future.
