Why/how does anxiety make my myasthenia gravis worse? this anxiety came on out of the blue 4 years ago! i take cymbalta (duloxetine) & klonopin for it.

Medication effects: I understand your distress. Side effects of Cymbalta (duloxetine) and Klonopin can be lethargy, fatigue, weakness, muscle pain spasms, Cymbalta (duloxetine) can cause anxiety. Using Klonopin with Cymbalta (duloxetine) may increase dizziness, confusion, and difficulty concentrating. It is likely these medications are affecting Myasthenia Gravis. See Psychiatrist for Diagnosis; discuss Cymbalta (duloxetine) and Klonopin, gradually decreasing dose.
