A member asked:

I have red dots on my skin after some bad sun burn but they don't look bad, i've never been in a tanning bed, could they be dangerous?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No, not dangerous: Red dots that appear in the exposed area after a severe sunburn are not dangerous, and if they represent capillary damage they will fade in a week or so (depending on the degree of injury). If they last longer they could be cherry angiomas, another benign condition.
