Time for an exam.: What you describe is a classic symptom called "flushing", and it usually is caused by one of several different specific things. My first thought in your case is hot flashes, but there are other things that need to be looked into like medication or supplement reactions, allergy (less likely), reaction to food, or even some uncommon tumors can do this. Some blood tests, a history & exam are needed.
