Need more history: Sounds like this headache is worrying to you. Your brief description has some features that point toward and away from such diagnoses as migraine and hemicrania continua. Tumors are more likely to cause seizures and focal neurological symptoms than headaches, and when tumors do cause headaches, the headache often worsens with lying down.
