Doc thought i had a dvt in my leg post op. er did ultrasound and found biphasic flow in lower extremity and said pvd. i am 27yo. is this likely?

Usually a: venous doppler ultrasound is performed to evaluate for DVT(maybe you had it done as well), but you are describing findings of an arterial doppler. Biphasic flow is abnormal and suggests PVD, as you describe. It would be every unusual for a 27 yo to have significant atherosclerotic changes unless you are diabetic or have another predisposing disorder, so you need to talk to your doc about results
