Hematologist: Your niece has low blood cells of all types and needs to be evaluated by a hematologist. The issue is not suitable for this forum.

Error in Lab ?serios: The platelet count of 28 thousand is worrisome. But before you worry, I would advise that the CBC(Complete blood count) should be rechecked as laboratory errors can cause spuriously low platelet count. If the repeat test shows abnormal values are persisting, then go to a physician to run further testing to find the cause of abnormal blood counts.
