A member asked:

I opened my eyes wide and i had double vision for a minute or two and went away is it normal to happen?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Muscle imbalance: When you strain your eyes to open widely, you are changing the neural input to the muscles that align your eyes. For some people that have a delicate balance in their alignment this can temporarily upset fusion and create double vision.
