I have double vision when i look at something from far away. when i close one eye my vision is fine but when they are both open i see two images.

If this is a new finding, please be seen as soon as possible. Please do not take chances. If symptoms are associated with increased blood pressure, you must be seen today in ER or clinic or your physician, if available. Hope everything will be okay..

Problems with the cornea often cause double vision in one eye only. Covering the affected eye makes the double vision go away. Pl see attached link for details and some guidance

your double vision is called Diplopia and represents a vertical or horizontal misalignment of the eyes. You should get an eye exam to determine the underlying cause and treatment
