Polyp throat: Doctors make it their business to worry about cancer especially in smokers or patients with a family history of cancer. That being said, growths in the throat can frequently be benign cyst. 'Polyps' in the throat are not common so if you have a growth in the throat, you should see an ENT specialist to make a proper diagnosis.
