Diet and exercise: I treat the feet of many diabetic patients and encourage them to watch their diet and to exercise. That's how to lose weight. Cut down on foods that can raise your blood sugar such as candy, soda, chips, cookies, breads. Don't eat until you are stuffed, eat less at mealtimes. Snack on fruit or nuts or yogurt. Exercise at least 20 minutes a day 3-4 times a week. Get your blood sugar checked.
