A member asked:

I've had treatment for chlamydia twice and i've recently done a test that has still came back positive when i retested what do i do now?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Timing between tests: Sometimes, you should get tested 4 weeks after treatment If you get tested closer to treatment date, it can be a false positive Also if your partner is not treated and you engage in sex, you can pass chlamydia back to each other. See your GYN for further evaluation.
