CONCUSSION QUESTION: A concussion is a violent shaking of the brain which can occur with or without direct trauma to the head. The mechanisms you describe would not likely produce enough force to produce concussion.

It is unlikely ...: Concussion is an injury to the brain, of a functional type, with no damage to brain structure. Characterised by headache, dizziness, memory loss, transient confusion and defects in balance or co-ordination. Classically from a blow to the head, concussion can occur with impact to another body part which transmits force to the brain. While minor knocks can, normal body movement should not concuss.

Probably not: Concussions are based largely on impact to the head. Other injuries can result from head movements like whiplash that don't involve impact and may produce post-concussive symptoms because the brain was moving around inside the skull and made an impact within the skull. The G-forces involved in whiplash are pretty extreme. Very hard for us to generate these forces ourselves.
