i have had a cough for three weeks now and have been taking otc cough medicine but have just been prescribed topamax (topiramate) for weight. can i mix the two?

No reports: Different OTC cough meds are different, but robitussin cold/flu is a safe mix. You don't say how obese you are, but there are reasons to be concerned about Topamax (topiramate) for this purpose. Talk to the Dr about the safety - especially if you hope to have children. Consider the full range of weight control strategies and include the safety risks that matter.
