Eczema: Some feel that eczema may be an allergic reaction to the excrement from house dust mites but the actual cause of most cases remains unclear. You should have your baby seen by a pediatrician or a pediatric dermatologist. Hope he is better soon.

Possibly: In general for mild eczema, one may not necessarily need to see an allergist. For more severe disease that is not responsive to therapy or persistent then an allergy evaluation may be needed.
