Hypertension: Lisinopril is usually well tolerated and maybe taking it with food may relieve your gastric side effects. Given the level of your last bp, it is likely that you'll require more medication than that to achieve a normal bp however. Follow a bland, low fat, low salt diet and If gastric symptoms persist, notify your physician..

Get your own BP cuff: You need to pruchase a blood pressure cuff and follow you blood pressure so you know where you are with therapy. Abdominal pain can occur with lisinopril. You can discuss this with your physician
