A member asked:

Is it safe to take magnesium supplements if you have low blood sugar?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Low blood sugar: Magnesium should not be an issue but low blood sugar is worrying. Do you have diabetes and occasionally overdosing with insulin and/or diabetes medications, or do you have low blood sugars without diabetes medications? For now, please check your blood sugar on alternate mornings and evenings - one check a day. Please let me know what is happening.
