No known interaction: There are no known interactions between Magnesium oxide and rivaroxaban. Therefore, taking magnesium supplement OTC will not increase blood thinner effect of rivaroxaban. However, other OTC items can increase blood thinning effects of rivaroxaban, such as NSAID's (aspirin, ibuprofen, naproxen) and especially alcohol usage. You should ask your cardiologist the above question!
