Side effects: Antibiotics can have side effects. The question is 'why' are you taking doxycycline? There are other antibiotics that can be used for treatment. If you're having a hard time with this one, you should be able to switch to something else. I would call your doctor to try and get help. It may be possible to try again later with this same antibiotic. Drink some ginger tea to soothe your stomach.
