Cold...Cut....: It's not clear as to type of granuloma you have had cauterized. Most likely it is a pyogenic granuloma. These can be treated initially by cauterization. Another acceptable way of treating is with cryotherapy(cold). I prefer to remove all doubt and cut it out. A few sutures later, and you're out the door.
