Better to wait: Amoxicillin may not be the best antibiotic for this, and in any case it's not a pain pill; antibiotics require a few days to start to help. If you're not having fever, spreading redness, or serious enlargement of the "boil", you should wait until you have been examined by your ObG then follow his or her advice. Good luck!
