Yes: From the Family Doc perspective, viral upper respiratory infections are much more common than bacterial. And they all present in similar fashion. Plus sputum color doesn't really tell us anything. So the reason I would recommend that you see your GP is b/c you're reporting difficulty breathing. That needs to be evaluated ASAP. Please don't wait to see if that will go away. Go to A&E if necessary.
