Amount of x-rays: The number of x-rays suggested depends upon your past dental history and current dental status based upon a clinical exam. Dental radiographs with proper technique and safeguards, especially digital x-rays are extremely safe. Often not taking suggested x-rays may lead to unnecessary problems and expense. Discuss these concerns with your own dentist.
