More information: It's important to know where and what kind of pain you're having. Diclifenac is an anti-inflammatory medication and not strictly a pain killer. If this is a recurrent problem, your physician who knows your history, is best qualified to advise you about whether you should be reexamined and whether a different treatment is indicated.
