A member asked:

Occasionally when i run, the bottom of my right lung hurts at an inhale. it is a sharp strong pain. it lasts a few seconds then it goes away. ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not to worry: The lung has a slick lining called the pleura. There is a fluid that lubricates the interface and occasionally a small area is either irritated or for some other unknown reason the fluid is temporarily absent and the lung sticks. >>> sharp pain with inhalation which is lung movement.
