Coughing blood?: If you are coughing up blood, called hemoptysis, you need to be evaluated by your doctor. The most common cause is bronchitis but malignancy needs to be ruled out. Gerd can cause bronchospasm, like asthma does, but neither should cause you to cough up blood. If you are short of breath or coughing up large amounts of blood, then go to the er. If you smoke, you need to quit asap.

Yes and no: Acid reflux may make your asthma worse but none of them should cause you to spit up blood. It is debatable whether really strenuous exercise may do this. Get yourself checked!
