Low K and GI bleed: 26 F Dxed with GI bleed and low K (hypokalemia). But asks no question. Comment: When you bleed into your gut the blood contains potassium and if a lot and fast this can lower blood K. Happy to do 2nd opinion to help u and team figure out what is going on.

Had upper GI scope. Finding non bleeding duodenum ulcer. Stomach was tested for h pylori - negative. Duodenum wasnt tested. Can HP only infect duodenum? Should duodenum also be tested for HP? I dont take meds that cause ulcers - have severe stress?
For 55+ F (Hb 10.6) is platelet count supposed to be higher than normal in case of internal bleeding from GI tract, ulcer/tumor, colon or lungs ?
