Side of tongue feels sore , doc said tongue looks perfect could be a nerve pressing on brain , what does this mean? itd my only symthoms help

Possible glossitis: an inflammation of the tongue itself or irritation of the lingual nerve, the main nerve which works the tongue, or possibly a low grade fungal infection. Sounds like inflammation to me- upload photos for further information. usually, easily treated with anti-inflammatory medication, or in combination with antifungal therapy
