Ive been sick on & off for the last month w/ sinus & ear infections. Yesterday, I went to bed w/ the worst post nasal drip & woke up with the most HORRIBLE sore throat of my life that isn't going away! Dr called in Clarithromycin. What else can I do?
I have a horrible sore throat. My tonsils are swollen and there is a white spot in the back of my throat. I also have ear pain on one side. My tongue has bumps in the back and looks grayish. Could this be strep? My neck is also sore.

Took my last dose of clarithromycin for an infection in my ears, throat and lungs. I feel better but my phlegm is still green. Should I be concerned?
